About

I am me. I love art and traveling and the great outdoors. I enjoy cooking and eating the food even more. I’m partial to craft beer or a cheap red wine. I believe music is one of the greatest treasures in this world. Watching a film or reading a gripping novel is time well spent in my mind. I truly find happiness in the simple pleasures life has to offer.

I grew up outside of Boston and then lived in the city after college. I began working with children and found I loved the spontaneity that their young minds brought to the work I did everyday. When I decided that I needed a change, I combined my passion for travel and teaching. Leaving my life as I’d known it behind, I moved to Thailand to teach english and immerse myself in a new world. Thus began the phase of my life in which I craved and chased the joy and invigoration of living life as a nomad, and worked to maintain that lifestyle. I lived in Thailand for two years, and took every moment I could to travel and explore. Over the years since then I have lived back in Boston at times, but also continued to pursue an international lifestyle, whether that has been work trips, long term nomadic adventures, or living as an expat.

This blog is simply about sharing my reflections during these experiences. It’s a journal of sorts. I write about the places I’ve been, the scenes I’ve witnessed, and the moments that have made an impression. I’m enjoying writing and cataloguing some of the moods and thoughts that this lifestyle has inspired. Sharing those is just as much a part of pushing myself out of my comfort zone as moving across the world has been.
