Colorado Visiting Friends
- First stop on our brewery bike tour at Liquid Mechanics Brewery
- Ready to go to the next stop! We went to Odd13 Brewery and The Post Brewery
- Dinner and drinks at The Post Brewery. The fried chicken there was delicious!
- Rocky Mountain National Park
- The Trail Ridge Road was open, even though it is usually closed this time of year so we were able to drive all the way up.
- Don’t be fooled by the paved path or lack of incline, it’s hard to catch your breath at 12,000 feet!
- Me and the mountains
- Tadaaa! I just landed an amazing gymnastics move…why else would I do that pose?
- Posing for the perfect picture
- It was freezing up there
- I could not feel my fingers after a while but it was totally worth it!
- This was hardly the first nor the last snowball I threw. My friends were only slightly amused. I just can’t help myself when there’s snow around.
- Hey look! Elk!
- They were completely unfazed by all the people and cars stopping to admire them, including me.
- Another lookout point
- John! Your shadow is blocking Krystal! Move out of the way…
- ….and now we’re undoubtedly laughing at John haha
- So he decided to pose as the creepy photo bombing guy
- I loved how you could occasionally see a grove of Aspen trees. It’s that circle to the left where there are no evergreens.
- My solo hike up Mt. Sanitas
- View from the top to the West
- Looking North along the mountains
- A glimpse of the Rockies
- A summit selfie
- Looking Southeast towards Boulder
